The Institute is based on the "Comprehensive Cancer Centre" model. While the main office, located within the hospital buildings of San Giovanni in Bellinzona, deals with more complex therapies. Most oncology treatments can be carried out in the Institute's outpatient clinics located at the various EOC sites.
