A multisite hospital. This is the founding characteristic of EOC and at the same time its strength, to be a diffuse and integrated hospital, with sites located throughout the canton.
This model allows the patient to receive highly competent care regardless of the network access node. In fact, each hospital is connected to the entire EOC hospital structure and the set of specialties offered. The multisite EOC hospital offers the added value of an interdisciplinary and multispecialty approach, made possible by the presence of interhospital departmental facilities.
