General rules

It is asked to limit the number of people who visit the patient at the same time and to respect the visiting hours. This rule is especially important if the room is shared by several patients.

Medical and nursing staff may step in for treatment or examination during the course of the day. In such cases, visitors will be asked to leave the room.

Cell phone use is generally permitted. To preserve patients' peace of mind, patients are asked not to make calls while visiting rooms. In corridors and other common areas, cell phone use is asked to be discreet and to avoid animated or noisy conversations.
In critical areas of the hospital, cell phones should remain turned off. These areas are identified with appropriate signage.

For reasons of safety and respect for other patients, smoking is prohibited inside EOC facilities including room balconies. Smoking is permitted only in marked smoking areas.
This rule also applies to electronic cigarettes.

For fire safety reasons, the use of candles or incense is not allowed in EOC facilities.

To ensure respect for the privacy and privacy of patients, visitors, and caregivers, no photography, video filming, or audio recording is permitted. Such activities are possible only with the prior written consent of the persons involved.

Buried plants and flowers are not allowed: the soil contains microbes that can be dangerous to some patients. Cut flowers are welcome.

Patients are urged to forego hospital visits if they are sick or not feeling well (cold, flu, cough, gastro-intestinal disorders, etc.).

While viewing, it is important to apply proper hand hygiene. Appropriate hydro-alcoholic solution is available in the rooms.
