We are an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and laboratory specialists who aim to offer a professional and individualised service to patients with bleeding problems (haemostasis) or thrombosis (thrombophilia).
We offer specialist consultations and accurate laboratory tests to detect coagulation problems. We are equipped to take care of patients with any acute or chronic coagulation problem in our outpatient clinics and, if necessary, in inpatient care. Paediatric patients up to 18 years of age are cared for by the EOC paediatric team (Dr. med. P. Brazzola, Bellinzona), while adult patients are cared for by the IOSI/EOC haematology team (Prof. Dr. med. G. Stüssi, PD Dr. med. B. Gerber). We work in close collaboration with the university centres in Zurich, Basel, Bern and Lausanne.
