A concentration of skills
The patient is attended to not only by a doctor, but also a medical team and top-level nursing staff who work together on a daily basis and provide their skills both day and night. This, together with frequent collaboration with other specialist doctors, encourages a more holistic vision of the patient and his or her problems so a “made-to-measure” treatment can be defined and implemented.

Personal care in a homely environment
The patient is the focal point of the EOC’s Nephrology and Dialysis Service, and the medical and nursing team concentrate their efforts around the patient to offer the most appropriate care in a homely and friendly environment.

Each patient is entrusted to a nurse who looks after him or her during the treatment process, and to a medical team who is familiar with their clinical history and if necessary is able to accompany the patient to other departments in the Hospital and during stays at other hospital facilities.
