Research and innovation are part of the DNA of the Istituto Cardiocentro Ticino, because there has never been a lack of awareness that the best quality of care can only be ensured over time if clinical commitment is accompanied by active participation in the evolution of scientific thinking. Over the years, major investments have supported countless research projects, conducted independently or in collaboration with leading academic centers and national and international university hospitals.
Today, dedicated infrastructure and personnel support research activities that span the full spectrum of clinical and pharmacological cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, up to the more recently developed areas of regenerative cardiology.
