Go to the sectionIt targets patients who have suffered a stroke, spinal cord injury, or severe head injury and patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis. The goal of the rehabilitation pathway is to accelerate the motor and cognitive recovery processes of these patients.
In the inpatient setting, the EOC Rehabilitation Clinic follows neurological patients, with its dedicated therapists, exclusively in the acute somatic setting at the EOC Regional Hospitals. Rehabilitation interventions aimed at the neurological patient at the Regional EOC Hospitals and on an outpatient basis include physiotherapy and occupational therapy treatments.
