Evaluation and selection

The EOC Surgical Training Network is headed by a coordinating group, which is responsible for selecting attending physicians who have applied to the EOC Surgical Training Network. The evaluation of candidates is carried out by a special evaluation committee.

The evaluation of the dossier (without the candidate) involves checking the completeness of documentation according to the admission criteria, including FMH certificates, and must take place within one month of the evaluation interviews.

The evaluation interviews have an approximate duration of 60 minutes for each candidate, 15 of which are devoted to evaluation without the candidate.

The candidate's participation in the training program is subject to a unanimous decision of the Evaluation Committee.

The achievement of the training objectives is carried out through regular interviews with the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Training Network in Surgery EOC and the Training Referrals of the involved EOC surgery services. The interviews include:

  • the initial evaluation.
  • the mid-term evaluation.
  • the final evaluation.
