Cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesia

She is responsible for preoperative evaluation and intraoperative and postoperative management of patients undergoing cardiac and large vessel surgery. Responsibilities also include the anesthesiologic care required for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed in the hybrid operating room and at the cardiac catheterization laboratories.

Performance

Operating room activities for elective and emergency surgeries

Includes anesthesia management for traditional and minimally invasive cardiac surgery, anesthesia management for thoracic vascular and endovascular surgery, and anesthesia management for complex thoracic surgery.
Activities in support of interventional cardiology

Assistance in coronarography in critically ill patients and anesthesia management in the hybrid room for endovascular implants and electrophysiology procedures.
Activities in the intensive care unit

Procedures related to the treatment of the critical cardiac patient, postoperative management, management external circulatory supports (ECMO), respiratory care with extracorporeal circuit.
