Quick and targeted help

Quick and targeted help

We offer quick and targeted help for myelopathy-related disorders. Our mission is to facilitate the inclusion of myeloma patients in society, helping them to maintain and improve their health status and daily needs. We believe in the importance of having a network of good collaborations with the various specialists in the canton of Ticino.

Features

In collaboration with Swiss Paraplegic Center specialist Dr. med. Michael Baumberger and his team, the patient will benefit at the outpatient clinic from a physiatric evaluation, aimed at preventing complications typical of the myelopathic person. During the annual checkup, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing and neurourological care is provided through our specialist, Dr. med. Chaplain. Based on the outcome of these assessments, the therapeutic and medical course to be followed will be discussed together.
