Go through the Mappo-Morettina Tunnel until the exit at Locarno. At the big roundabout, follow the signs for "La Carità" Hospital (H).
Motorway A26 until Gravellona-Toce. Exit in the direction of Verbania, skirting round Lago Maggiore until the Valmara mountain pass after Cannobio, only 12 kilometres from Locarno. Having reached Locarno, follow the signs for "La Carità" Hospital (H).
Those arriving from Varese can choose two different roads; follow the motorway in the direction of Mendrisio-Lugano-Bellinzona or go towards Laverno-Luino and skirting Lago Maggiore on the Lombardy banks arrive at Locarno.
From Domodossola you can take the road towards Santa Maria Maggiore-Malesco-Camedo and arrive at Locarno via the characteristic Centovalli.

The Hospital, which is located in the historic city centre, does not have a car park and the parking spaces situated nearby are all subject to charges and mostly only available for a limited time. We therefore recommend you to have someone bring you to the hospital, if possible, and to ask your family and friends to use public means of transport.
If you decide to use the parking lots, we recommend using the car park “Centro Castello - Ospedale La Carità”, which is a five-minute walk away from the hospital and close to the square Piazza Castello. This car park is subject to charges, but you can park there for an indefinite period of time. Inside of the car park, you will find information on how to reach the hospital. At the reception of the hospital, you will be given information on how to obtain a discount of 20%.
